Terri...........I have been in the hair industry for many years seeing styles and trends come and go. I feel that this experience makes me very versatile and creative with my guests. I have had the pleasure of having been an owner of Changes for over 15 years, but realized my true passion lies behind the chair creating new looks and forming relationships with my guests. I love all aspects of artistic hair design and color, but I especially enjoy perms and men’s haircutting. I have had the gratification of utilizing AVEDA products throughout my career, and I continue to enjoy growing and learning with the AVEDA team. Outside of Changes my outlet for fun is spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and home decorating.

Kim………..I don’t know how someone as young as me can be in business this long (ha)! As of June 2006, I will have been with Change for 27 years, since the day the doors first opened, fresh out of beauty school! 27 years and I still love what I do! My job gives me great gratification as I see my guests get excited about the newest look they receive while in my chair. One of the most important things to me as a stylist is my continued education with Aveda. As of 2005, I was trained and recognized by Aveda as the salon’s haircutting coach. Listening to and communicating with my clients is very important in achieving their desired look. My passion is creative haircutting and color, but, to be honest, I love it all! The things that my clients like best about me are my speed, flexible hours, and my ability to recreate the newest in trendy looks, whether it is at 6:00am or at midnight! I get very attached to my clients and have been told more than once that I am LOVED! Outside the salon my family is of most importance. My husband and I celebrated 27 years of marriage recently, and together we have 3 boys. There is never a dull moment! I love to plan trips and surprise those close to me with new life experiences (oh be afraid!). My friends are my outlet for fun and adventure, Disneyland is my happy place, Las Vegas in my party side, the beach is my escape, a purple Harley Davidson is my desire, and thanking God each and every day is my commitment! Helpful hint, I recommend you call and book two weeks in advance for your desired appointment. Evenings and Saturdays fill up quickly!

Donna- I have been working in the hair industry for over 30 years and have been at Changes for more than 25 years. My favorite thing about doing hair is having the knowledge and skills to bring out the look of you! I believe we all should be our true image. My area of expertise is my ability to conform a look with the lifestyle of the individual, whether it’s haircutting, color, highlights or style it’s all the picture of the new you! I also specialize in Thermal straightening certified by Chi. I am known for my upbeat personality and my ability to achieve exactly what they need. Outside of work I enjoy reading, spending time with my husband whether at home, car shows or traveling. I love sharing time with friends and family.

Chandra ............ I have been in the hair business since 1998, and have been at Changes since 1999. I like making people look and feel better about themselves. One of my favorite things about doing hair is the rewarding feeling I get when a guest leaves the salon with the confidence in knowing that they look good. My creativity definitely shines when I do hair color. I have received advanced training and I'm recognized by Aveda as a color coach and trainer within the salon. I also love to do hair extensions; it is so amazing how you can dramatically change someone look by adding length and body. Guests love the fact that I really listen to them and customize a look to give them their own individual style. Outside of the salon I have a passion for martial arts, reading, shopping and various motor sports.

Stacia............I have been in the salon business for 2 years and have worked at Changes Salon for one year. The most rewarding part of working as an esthetician is that I am, essentially, every client’s escape. I love that I am able to make my clients relax and give them a quick getaway from their everyday stresses. I really enjoy doing more of the newer Aveda skin care and body care services, such as the Botanical Resurfacing facial, and other cutting-edge facial treatments, but my expertise is definitely in waxing. I have been told that my touch is extremely soothing and that my gentle demeanor makes every service very enjoyable. Aside from working at the Changes, I love anything to do with the outdoor; rock climbing, hiking, and biking are some of my favorite activities and I am always up for an adventure!

Nathan…….I have been in the hair industry for four years and have been working at Changes for over a year. My favorite thing about being in the hair industry is that hair styles are always changing and as they do, I get the opportunity to learn more and develop more advanced skills. I consider my areas of expertise to be in men’s haircuts and textured hair. My personality and relaxing massages are what I am known for. Clients always leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. Outside of the salon my interests are cars and music.

Mari………. I have worked in the salon business for 4 years and have had the privilege of working at Changes salon for 9 months. I love the fact that I get to meet new people all the time and make them feel good about themselves as they leave the salon. I pride myself in creating trendy looks and I enjoy doing short cuts most of all. I would say that my clients like that I am nurturing, flexible, and pay attention to each individual’s thoughts and desires. When I am not at the salon, I am going to school at Scottsdale Community College. I also enjoy learning new things and spending time with my friends and family.

Kylie……...I have worked at the Changes Salon front desk for just about one year. What I most enjoy about working at this salon is the exposure to new trends and techniques to help me improve and change my own look. I think clients appreciate my welcoming attitude and notice my goofy personality above all. Outside of the salon, I am a fulltime student at ASU, majoring in criminal justice and minoring in Spanish. I love to travel and expose myself to different cultures because I think that is the best learning experience one can have. But, when I can’t get out of town, I like to spend time at the mall and with my family.

Kasey.........Since starting at Changes in 2005, I have developed many new skills and learned a lot about myself, my coworkers, and the salon industry. I began as a frontline representative, but now my main focus is on developing the marketing agenda and operations of the salon. My favorite part about working at Changes is that everyday presents a chance for me to learn something new! I enjoy coming to work and starting a new project that will ultimately benefit the clients and the growth of the salon. The one thing that clients probably like best about me is my diligence and willingness to help them at all times. Outside of work, I am a fulltime student at Arizona State University majoring in Marketing. I am also very passionate about dance and teach at a studio in North Scottsdale.

Tasha.........For the past year and a half I have been training and working in the hair industry and have been at Changes Salon since July of 2006. With hair trends continuously changing you’ll never do the same thing twice and there are so many great opportunities! For example, Aveda offers continuing education that will always help me further my expertise in the hair industry. I enjoy everything from coloring to cutting, styling and achieving the perfect look for special occasions. Clients mostly like my ability to communicate and to listen to their needs to help them customize their own new look. When I am not doing hair I am a member of various professional dance companies and performance groups. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Juliana........Since starting at Changes in 2005, I have gone from the Frontline to now working in Skin Care. I have been trained with only Aveda products from massage to waxing. With every service that is provided in skincare my goal is to have the client leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. There is not a skin type out there that would not love to be treated, and there is not a person out there that would not love to escape from there daily stresses to be pampered. Erin..............I have been working in the salon industry since May of 2000 and working as part of the Changes team since July of 2007. My favorite thing about working in the salon industry is being able to interact with people everyday. I consider my area of expertise Aveda, I’ve been working with the Aveda product line for 3 years. Clients like my friendly personality and smile the best. When I am not working at Changes I am either playing softball or shopping.

Ashley........... Since my start in the beauty industry I have found that what I love most is being able to perform services that boost self esteem. I enjoy seeing how happy people get and that certainly makes my job enjoyable. I would love to say I try my hardest to do my best at everything; however, color is defiantly my strong point. I also have a high interest in retail and the theory of hair. I am known for taking my time and effort to make sure clients are relaxed and comfortable. In my spare time outside of the salon I love going home to my baby girl, Ava. A perfect weekend to me is family and friends camping lakeside.

Keelin...........I graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis. Since then I have been developing my skills, techniques and also my own unique style. For the past 8 months I have had the privilege of working at Changes and have used my knowledge of the Aveda philosophy for a smooth transition. I enjoy building relationships with my clients, while creating a fun and unique look that’s just right for them, I take pride in my work, and knowing my clients leave my chair feeling great and comfortable with their new style. I am always looking for a challenge and am constantly developing and furthering my education in new fashion and hairstyles.
